Poll Shows Public Trust in Balen Shah's Government Remains High

Kathmandu. Exactly one year ago today, on Bhadra 23, 082, when the Gen Z generation took to the streets, perhaps no one imagined that "the government would fall within 24 hours and the country would take a new direction."

On Bhadra 23, the then government brutally suppressed the peaceful protest of the Gen Z generation, and many youths lost their lives. After students in school uniforms also became targets of police bullets, public outrage grew, and the protest took a violent turn on Bhadra 24. As a result, many government offices and private properties, political party offices, and leaders' houses were set on fire.
