Former Nigerian Striker Michael Eneramo Dies on Pitch at 40

Kaduna. Renowned former Nigerian striker Michael Eneramo has passed away on the pitch. The 40-year-old collapsed suddenly five minutes into the second half of a friendly match held in Kaduna on Friday.

The Nigerian Football Federation has confirmed that a heart attack is suspected to be the cause of his death. Eneramo, who earned 10 caps for the Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles, was known for his physical strength and remarkable goal-scoring ability.
