This restriction, imposed in the name of war and internal security, is claimed to have devastated the country's economy. Furthermore, citizens have been deprived of their fundamental right to information.

Iran is currently undergoing an unimaginable digital crisis. According to a report by the internet monitoring organization NetBlocks, the internet has been completely shut down in Iran for the past 57 days. This is the longest nationwide internet ban ever imposed in any country. Starting eight weeks ago, this restriction has not only isolated Iran's more than 90 million citizens from the world but has also dealt a massive blow to the nation's economy.
