Police Senior Constable Arrested for Bribery in Kaski

Kathmandu. The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has apprehended a Police Senior Constable stationed at the District Police Office, Kaski, with a bribe of 50,000 rupees.

Police Senior Constable Bishnu Thapa Chhetri, who works in the case section of the District Police Office, was arrested on Saturday following reports that he had solicited a bribe from a service seeker by promising to facilitate a drug-related case.
