Digital Anarchy in the Name of Freedom: Nepali Society's Moral Decline

Humans cannot predict some natural disasters. Because of this, there is often great loss of life and property. The recent avalanche disaster in Nepal and the subsequent situation is also an example of this. During such a disaster, a video used by Nepalis for Nepalis on social media spread rapidly. In the video, amidst the tragedy of the disaster, a woman was tearfully pleading, 'My husband is trapped inside the tunnel, the government must help in any way possible.'

That was not just the emotional cry of a victim's wife; it was the anguish of a helpless citizen knocking on the doors of the state to save her loved one stuck between life and death.
