BP Highway Blocked by Heavy Rainfall, Traffic Expected to Resume by 10 AM

Kathmandu. Due to the rain that fell last night, the BP Highway has been blocked in two places. According to Suman Yogesh, chief of the Road Division Office, Bhaktapur, traffic has come to a standstill after diversions at Charasay Besi and Katunje of the highway were washed away.

Chief Yogesh informed that the work to clear the road is currently underway and traffic is expected to resume within the next one to one and a half hours. He said, 'The road is currently closed in two places, we are trying to clear it. The road will be open by 10 AM at the latest.'
