Kalimati Market Sets Wholesale Prices for Fruits and Vegetables

Kathmandu. The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has set the wholesale prices for agricultural produce for today. According to the committee, the wholesale prices are: Indian large tomatoes at Rs 110 per kg, local small tomatoes at Rs 70 per kg, Indian small tomatoes at Rs 60 per kg, Terai small tomatoes at Rs 60 per kg, red potatoes at Rs 27 per kg, Indian red potatoes at Rs 24 per kg, and dried Indian onions at Rs 37 per kg.

Similarly, local carrots are priced at Rs 60 per kg, Terai carrots at Rs 30 per kg, local cabbage at Rs 40 per kg, Terai cabbage at Rs 35 per kg, local cauliflower at Rs 30 per kg, Japu cauliflower at Rs 40 per kg, white hybrid radish at Rs 25 per kg, long eggplant at Rs 40 per kg, and round eggplant at Rs 50 per kg.
