President Issues Ordinance for Dismissal of 1,594 Public Officials

Kathmandu. President Ram Chandra Paudel has issued the 'Special Arrangement Ordinance Regarding Dismissal from Public Office, 2083' at the recommendation of the Council of Ministers. With this step taken by the government led by Prime Minister Balen Shah to strengthen administration and give new momentum to state bodies, a total of one thousand 594 officials appointed under various acts and structures will be collectively dismissed.
