Baglung Traffic Police Arrest 14 Drivers for Drug Use

Pokhara. Drivers consuming drugs have been found in Baglung. Under the drug testing campaign conducted by the District Traffic Police Office, 14 people were prosecuted out of 65 checked. Traffic Police Office Baglung Chief Senior Sub-Inspector Min Bahadur Kunwar informed that this campaign was started following complaints that accidents were increasing due to drivers driving under the influence of drugs.

According to him, out of 65 people checked using drug kits in the Malunga, Akshate of Kathekhola, Hatiya of Galकोट Municipality, and Gwailichaur market areas of Badigad, 14 drivers tested positive.
