Police Assistant Sub-Inspector Dies in Hetauda Road Accident

Hetauda. A police assistant sub-inspector died when a truck hit a scooter on the East-West Highway in Hetauda Metropolitan City-11, Thanabharyang, Makwanpur, this afternoon.

The scooter, Ba Pra 03-005 Pa 1415, which was coming from Nawalpur towards Hetauda bazaar, was hit from behind by a truck carrying iron, Na 5 Kha 5252, coming from the same direction. The scooter driver, 36-year-old police assistant sub-inspector Kiran Shrestha, a resident of Tandi Rural Municipality-6, Nuwakot, and working at the Nepal Police Special Security Brigade, Ratomaate, Makwanpur, died, informed District Police Office Makwanpur Spokesperson Police Deputy Superintendent Pushkar Bogati.
