NRB governor hints new monetary policy to focus on SMEs’ surging bad loans

KATHMANDU, July 7: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Governor Biswo Nath Poudel has hinted that the central bank will be introducing measures to recover bad debt from small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and the agriculture sector. He made this remark at a time when the NRB is preparing to introduce new monetary policy for the next fiscal year (FY).
