Flood levels remain normal across major rivers, caution advised in riverine areas

Kathmandu, October 5 — The monsoon winds are currently affecting the entire country. There is a partial impact from a low-pressure system formed in the northern regions of Bangladesh and West Bengal in India, particularly in the eastern and central parts of the country.

According to the Flood Forecasting Section's measurements this morning, the water levels of the Koshi, Narayani, Karnali, Mahakali rivers and their tributaries, as well as the Kankai, Kamala, Bagmati, Eastern Rapti, Western Rapti, and Babai rivers, are all below the warning levels and remain normal.
