Thalapathy Vijay Appointed Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu. Tamil actor Thalapathy Vijay, who entered politics from the stage, has been appointed Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. The Governor, Rajendra Arlekar, has appointed Vijay as Chief Minister after the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam led by him secured a majority.
His oath-taking ceremony is scheduled to be held at 10 AM today at Nehru Stadium in Chennai. Indian Congress MP Rahul Gandhi is also scheduled to attend the oath-taking ceremony.
