CIAA files corruption case against Nepal Insurance Authority chair Silwal

Silwal, who had retired in July 30, 2016 based on the official birthdate of July 30, 1958, allegedly altered his records to continue his service.

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Monday filed a corruption case against Surya Prasad Silwal, chairperson of Nepal Insurance Authority, accusing him of misusing his position, submitting false documents, and carrying out fraudulent practices.
