Teacher Service Commission Vacant for Five Months Due to Lack of Officials

Kathmandu. The Teacher Service Commission has been without officials for the past five months. The commission has become vacant as officials were dismissed through the 'Special Arrangement Ordinance for Removal of Public Officials, 2083', causing difficulties for the commission in making policy and administrative decisions.

The commission has been without officials since the ordinance was issued on Baishakh 18. Due to the absence of officials, the annual work schedule has not been published, and regular policy and administrative work have been affected.
