Huge public outcry erupts against introduction of ordinance by govt

KATHMANDU, August 18: The government introduced an ordinance that allowed political parties to split on Tuesday. Following this move of the government, a huge public outcry has erupted among the general public. No one has dared to speak in its favour so far.

Most of the mainstream newspapers and media houses have published editorial against this move of the government on Wednesday. Mainstream newspapers like Kantipur Daily and Nagarik Daily have strongly opposed the government’s move. Almost every media house has stood against the government in this regard.
