‘Metis Linux’: The Operating System Developed by a 17-Year-Old

Back in 2021, Nabin a grade 11 student used to use Arch Linux, a system which has a lot of packages and extra suits that are particularly designed for server work. A normal person, however, did not need all those packages and suits. Soon after Nabin realized that there were too many unnecessary suits and packages, and then aspired to make his own operating system where individuals could decide what package to install, what to run & what not to. He then began working on Metis Linux .
Back then, Nabin used to follow Dylan Araps who is an Open source developer from Melbourne, Australia. Dylan Araps had a project known as ‘ Kiss Linux ‘ which Nabin used to love. It is a minimal & lightweight operating system and then chose the right init system for Metis Linux accordingly.
