NA Chair Dahal calls for international support to combat climate change in Nepal

Kathmandu, October 14 — National Assembly (NA) Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal has called on the international community to support Nepal with necessary financial resources and technology to help mitigate the impacts of climate change. He emphasized that these adverse effects are notably felt in the Himalayas, including at Mt. Everest, the world’s highest peak.

Speaking at the inter-parliamentary union (IPU) general assembly in Geneva, Dahal highlighted the importance of leveraging technological advancements and innovation for the collective benefit of humanity.
