As calls to probe Congress leader Gurung grow, police say they found no links in cooperative scam

Opposition politicians, mainly those from the RSP, say their leader faces a lingering probe while others allegedly scamming public deposits have been let off the hook.

As police continue probing Rastriya Swatantra Party President and former home minister Rabi Lamichhane by keeping him in custody for over two months over his alleged involvement in cooperatives fraud case, RSP leaders and sympathisers have been consistently raising questions over the impartiality of investigation.
