Intertwined Digital Rights and Digital Technologies

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) has been studying digital rights and digital technologies from the perspective of human rights for quite some time and has been trying to explore the connection between digital technologies, digital rights and human rights imperatives.

This is a global issue and the world urgently requires to hold intensive dialogues to bring out a common standard framework that can encourage continued innovation in the further development of digital technology, which simultaneously empowers the people to build their capabilities to exercise their democratic rights.
