National Assembly leaders and lawmakers stress strengthening of federal system

Top officials from federal parliament and experts brainstormed about ways to strengthen the federal system, particularly provinces.

The National Assembly chair, deputy chair, lawmakers and other officials from the federal parliament came together at an event in Kathmandu on Tuesday to discuss the current state of implementation of federalism in the country and ways to strengthen the federal system, which has been practiced in Nepal since 2017.
