Founder of Ratopati.com Om Sharma Donates Rs 70,000 to PM's Disaster Relief Fund

Kathmandu. Founder of Ratopati.com Om Sharma has donated Rs 70,000 to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund. Sharma said that he deposited the amount in the fund on Friday with the objective of supporting relief, rescue, and reconstruction after the devastating flood in the Bhote Koshi river on Bhadra 10. Sharma, who recently made an on-site visit and observation of the flood-affected areas, has appealed to all Nepalis, both within the country and abroad, to provide as much help as possible from their respective places during this difficult time of disaster. He stated that even though the amount of aid is small, small contributions from everyone during such a disaster will provide great relief to the victims. He said that although weaknesses are visible in the government's working style and mechanisms for relief and rescue, the priority at this time should be humanitarian aid. Sharma said, 'Despite many problems and weaknesses in the government's working style, the entire country should unite at this time to engage in relief and reconstruction and support the government's efforts.'
