Syngja's Aandikhola River Gets 444-Meter Suspension Bridge

Syngja. A suspension bridge has been constructed over the Aandikhola river connecting Galyang Municipality Wards 7 and 11 of Syngja. With the construction of the 444-meter-long bridge connecting Budhathoki Danda of Galyang 11 and Senapuk of Ward 7, it is now possible to reach the Siddhartha Highway from Senapuk in 10 minutes. Earlier, it used to take one hour to reach there from Senapuk.

Galyang Mayor Guruprasad Bhattarai said that this bridge will be useful for the convenience of citizens in the dense settlements on the other side of Aandikhola, including Senapuk, as well as for the promotion of domestic and external tourism. "With the construction of the bridge, it has become easier and simpler for the locals for commuting, trade and business, education, health, and daily livelihood," he said, "With the construction of the bridge, we expect to strengthen Galyang physically, economically, and socially, and advance the entire municipality to a new dimension of development."
