175 candidates with single election symbol withdraw names from PR closed list

Kathmandu, Jan 13: A total of 175 candidates with 17 election symbols have withdrawn their names from the closed list of the proportional representation under the House of Representatives (HoR) member elections to be held on coming March 5.

The Election Commission (EC) had published the information stating that the candidates included in the closed list could withdraw their names from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm by January 12 (Monday).
