India and Russia Vow to Strengthen Bilateral Ties Amidst Global Political Shifts

New Delhi. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin have agreed to further strengthen the relationship between India and Russia. Additionally, Putin stated that BRICS needs to be further strengthened for global economic development, staying outside the influence of Western countries.

Modi and Putin held a meeting in New Delhi on Friday on the eve of the BRICS summit. The summit will be attended by leaders of BRICS member and partner countries, including Chinese President Xi Jinping and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
