Lumbini-Nepal Marathon to be held in Thailand

Kathmandu, Dec 8: The Lumbini-Nepal Mini Marathon is to be held in Thailand on the occasion of the Buddha Jayanti 2026.
The Embassy of Nepal in Thailand said that the event is aimed at publicizing the holy birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha. The event will be organized in the third week of May 2026. The Mini Marathon events will cover the distances of ten kilometres and five kilometres.
