At Least 7 Dead in Two Separate Blasts in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province

Islamabad. Police have reported that at least 7 people have died in two separate explosions on the roadside in Bannu district of Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

According to police, a private pickup truck carrying passengers was targeted with a remote-controlled 'improvised explosive device'. Further casualties occurred when a second explosion hit another vehicle used for rescue efforts while transporting the injured to the hospital. Three people were injured in both explosions.
