Photo Feature: Chhath festival concludes with offering of Arghya to rising sun

Kathmandu, November 8 — The Chhath festival has been completed with the offering of Arghya to the rising sun. Celebrated over four days with various rituals, the fourth day of the festival concluded this morning with the offering of Arghya to the rising sun from a water body, marking the grand conclusion of the festival.

The festival was also celebrated with great enthusiasm in various rivers and ponds of Kathmandu. In the Terai region, including Mahottari, Dhanusha, Siraha, Saptari, Sunsari, Morang, Sarlahi, Rautahat, Bara, Parsa, and the Mithila region, people offered Arghya to the rising sun in water bodies across the country.
