Brazil unemployment continues historic decline despite US tariffs

Brazil's unemployment rate continued its historic decline in the quarter from August to October, despite tariffs imposed on its goods by the United States, official figures showed Friday.

The share of the labor force looking for work dropped to 5.4 percent in this period, the lowest since current calculation methods were introduced by the IBGE statistics agency in 2012.
