Space-time singularities and cyclic geometry: Public lecture by Prof. Roger Penrose on his 90th birthday | Happening tomorrow

BMUCO has announced that in collaboration with the Chern Institute of Mathematics at Nankai University, their advisor Prof Yang-Hui He has invited the 2020 Nobel Laureate Professor Sir Roger Penrose to give a talk titled “ Space-Time Singularities and Cyclic Geometry ” this Saturday 7 th August at 3:45-4:45 PM NPT.

Professor Penrose is widely considered as one of his generation’s outstanding mathematical physicists. He is most known for his work on singularities with Professor Stephen Hawking, for which he was given the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2020 “for the discovery that black hole development is a robust prediction of general relativity.”
