Rukum Paschim farmers sell 4 metric tons of honey in six months

Triveni (Rukum Paschim), Feb 4: The beekeepers in the district have sold four metric tons of honey in six months. They earned Rs 4 million with the sale, according to Information Officer at the District Agriculture Office, Lal Bahadur Bhandari.

The honey is sold at Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,200 per kg. Banphikot rural municipality and Athbiskot municipality produce highest amount of the honey. Other local levels to produce the nectar are Sanibheri and Triveni rural municipalities, and Musikot and Chaurajahari municipalities.
