At Least 15 Miners Killed in Russian Drone Attack in Eastern Ukraine; Civilian Targets Hit

At least 15 mine workers were killed in a Russian drone attack in eastern Ukraine. According to DTEK, Ukraine's largest private energy company, and emergency services, the attack on Sunday targeted a bus carrying workers returning after finishing their shift in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Seven others were injured in this attack. Although there was initial confusion regarding the death toll, government agencies have confirmed that 15 people died. In separate attacks on the same Sunday, two more people were killed, and dozens were injured.
