Preparations for electronic voting in these seven districts

KATHMANDU: The state and House of Representatives elections will be held next Mangsir (November/December). The ruling coalition is debating whether to hold elections in the last week of Kartik (November/December) or the first week of Mangsir (November/December).

The Election Commission has not formally proposed date for the election. The government and the commission, on the other hand, have agreed to hold elections in late Kartik or early Mangsir. The commission is preparing to propose the election date to the government in a few days after analyzing the final results of the local elections.
