Pakistan Penalized 11 WTC Points, Fined 50% Match Fee for Slow Over Rate Against England

Kathmandu. Pakistan, which lost the Test series against England 3-0, has suffered another major blow. Pakistan has been doubly penalized for maintaining a slow over rate in the final Test at Edgbaston as part of the World Test Championship (WTC).

Pakistan was defeated by eight wickets in Edgbaston. Pakistan's current WTC cycle has been deducted 11 points for not completing the required overs within the stipulated time in that match. Also, the team's players have been fined 50 percent of their match fee.
