State Minister Taramana Gurung Arrested and Released After Fraud Allegations

Kathmandu. State Minister Taramana Gurung was found to have been arrested and released after a complaint of fraud for taking earnest money from three people by arranging houses in Kathmandu.

He was released on September 12, eight days after being arrested on September 4. Following the public disclosure of his arrest, he has already resigned from his post as the coordinator of the Congress Disciplinary Committee on moral grounds.
