CPN UML Faces Crucial Juncture Amidst Calls for Reorganization

CPN UML is currently at a significant juncture in its ideological and political journey. The 'Gen Z' movement, the future of democracy, issues related to nationality and people's livelihoods, and the future of the communist movement have raised questions of self-reflection, reorganization, and renaissance within the party due to new consciousness in Nepali society and the new political situation formed after the general elections of February 21. CPN UML leaders and cadres have seriously raised the issue of the party's overall reorganization.

This issue is no longer limited to the dissatisfaction of a few individuals, the aspirations of a certain group, or a general debate about leadership change. It has become a fundamental theoretical and political question about what ideology CPN UML can carry forward in the future, what kind of organization it will build, how it will re-establish its relationship with the people, and how it will connect the changing generation with leadership.
