A trip gone wrong

What was supposed to be a quiet family getaway takes a strange and terrifying turn.

I try to plan a family trip once a year so that we can get away from the stresses of everyday life and spend quality time together. My wife and I often prefer to stay in hotels, but after we had our third child, we felt that booking a villa would be more comfortable, as our youngest child, who was seven months at the time, regularly cried and threw tantrums at night. So for this family trip to a beach town, we decided to book an entire villa.
