Canada's employment increases in November

Canada's employment increased by 54,000, or 0.3 percent, in November, driven by gains in part-time work, said Statistics Canada on Friday.

The employment rate rose 0.1 percentage points to 60.9 percent, while the unemployment rate fell 0.4 percentage points to 6.5 percent, said the national statistical agency.
