Nepal Police planning to recruit 130,000 temporary police for upcoming general elections

KATHMANDU, Aug 11: The Nepal Police has maintained that as many as 130,000 temporary police personnel will be required during the upcoming election of House of Representatives (HoR) and Provincial level.

In the local polls held earlier this year, the government had recruited as many as 100,000 temporary police.
