Tokiyo. Government statistics released on Friday showed that Japan's industrial production increased by 0.8% in April compared to the previous month. This ends a decline that had lasted for two consecutive months.

According to Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the seasonally adjusted production index for factories and mines reached 102.8, with 2020 as the base year, according to the preliminary report.
