Traffic Affected on Major Highways Due to Floods, Landslides, and Road Maintenance

Kathmandu. Traffic on major highways has been affected due to floods, landslides, road maintenance, and construction in various parts of the country. According to the details released by the Nepal Police, traffic is fully or partially obstructed on various road sections in Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.

Road sections in Kavre, Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, and Chitwan are affected in Bagmati Province. In Kavre, all vehicles plying on the Khurkot–Nepalethok–Kutunjebesi are affected due to potential floods. It has been informed that traffic has been stopped on this road section until further notice.
