Former PM Oli Warns Against Regressive Steps, Cites History of Political Instability

Kathmandu. Former Prime Minister and CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has announced that regressive and anti-freedom steps will not last long. Speaking at a program to receive a memorandum from journalists at the UML party office on Sunday, Chairman Oli hinted at the current government with such a statement.

"Our party has been fighting for freedom. Our struggle may have slowed down at times, or been halted by authoritarianism for a while. Now, attempts are being made to stop it again," he said, "Regressive, anti-freedom, and narrow-minded steps can no longer last long."
