Legislative Management Committee Passes Infectious Animal Disease Control Bill with Amendments

Kathmandu. The Legislative Management Committee of the National Assembly has unanimously passed the 'Bill to Make Provisions for the Control of Infectious Animal Diseases, 2083' with amendments. The proposal presented by Chairman Krishna Bahadur Rokaya for passage with revisions after discussing the bill's report in the committee meeting held on Tuesday was unanimously passed.

The bill includes legal provisions necessary to control, prevent infectious animal diseases, and protect livestock from potential infections. With the passage of the bill, the legal basis for the identification, control, and prevention of infectious animal diseases is expected to be further strengthened.
