CALI membership will benefit Nepal on enhancing legislative capacity and utilizing digital technology

Kathmandu, Sept 15: Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, claimed that obtaining membership of the Council of Asian Legislative Institution (CALI) would benefit Nepal on exchanging knowledge, experience and best practices related to law-making and formulation.

Minister Gautam said this while responding to the queries raised in today’s meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) during the discussion on the proposal ‘Let the Government of Nepal approve with its declaration regarding joining the Council of Asian Legislative Institutions (CALI).’
