Third senior US official to visit Nepal since the Balendra Shah government took office, Rogers is scheduled to meet ministers and attend the Ascent Summit 2026 amid growing diplomatic engagement between Kathmandu and Washington.
US Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy Sarah B. Rogers arrived in Kathmandu on Saturday night from New Delhi, concluding the India leg of her South and Central Asia tour.
