Siraha Police Seize Ambulance With 105kg Ganja

Siraha. Police have taken an ambulance under control with 105 kg of marijuana. The ambulance, with registration number Ja 1 Cha 1213, which was used for transporting marijuana, was taken under control by the police from the HULAKI road section in Siraha Municipality-1. According to the District Police Office Siraha, a police team was mobilized based on a secret information that marijuana was being loaded into an ambulance from Choharwa and brought towards Siraha. When the police team chased the ambulance, the driver fled leaving the ambulance behind after reaching the HULAKI road section in Siraha Municipality-1. Police seized the ambulance and upon inspection, 105 kg of marijuana kept in five jute sacks was recovered. The recovered marijuana and the ambulance have been kept at the District Police Office Siraha. Police Inspector Naresh Limbu of the District Police Office Siraha informed that further investigation into the incident is underway. Police stated that it has not yet been revealed whose ambulance it is. The identification and search for the absconding driver is ongoing. Police also stated that investigation is underway regarding where the marijuana was brought from and where it was being taken.
