Dispute Over Tree Cutting at Mahendra Morang Campus

Biratnagar. There were 13 large spice trees on the eastern side of the premises of Mahendra Morang Adarsh ​​Bahumukhi Campus Biratnagar, a constituent campus of Tribhuvan University.

Some environmental activists and students have protested after the trees, located north of the main gate, were auctioned and cutting began, citing them as risky. On the other hand, the campus administration and timber traders have objected to the obstruction of cutting that was carried out after completing all legal procedures.
