Construction of Narayani bridge begins after 18 months delay

The 420-metre bridge will have two 53-metre towers, a 10-metre clearance over the river to allow vessels weighing up to 2000 tonnes to pass underneath.

Construction of the long-awaited signature bridge over the Narayani river has finally begun a year and a half after the ceremonial groundbreaking of the ‘iconic bridge’.
