Nepal's Asian Games Journey: A Quest for Gold

Kathmandu. The Asian Games, or 'Asiad', is the world's largest continental multi-sport competition. Held every four years, this competition brings together Asia's top athletes on a single platform.

Nepal has been participating in the Asian Games since its first edition. In the first Asian Games held in New Delhi, India in 1951, Nepal participated only in athletics. However, it had to wait 35 years for the medal drought to end.
