MP Dr. Dhananjay Regmi Discusses Parliamentary Issues and Tourism

Kathmandu. Dr. Dhananjay Regmi is known as a Member of Parliament who expresses his views fearlessly. Dr. Regmi, a Member of Parliament from the National Independent Party (NIP) elected from Syangja Constituency-1, is also a former CEO of the Nepal Tourism Board. Regmi holds a doctorate in Environmental Earth Science from Hokkaido University, Japan.

He is particularly an expert in the fields of Himalayan geography, glaciers, glacial lakes, climate change, and environmental risks. This is an edited excerpt from an interview with Radipati's 'Member of Parliament' column by Narendra Raul (also available as a video):
